Services: visitation will be Friday from 3pm to 8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Preceded in death by an infant twin daughter Noelle Garrison step father Gordon L. Garrison of Lafayette daughter-Shalina & Jeff Osburn of Twin Lakes, WI sons-Christopher & Sarah Garrison of Panhandle, TX, and Brady & Katie Garrison of Waukesha, WI brother's-Jim & Tina Garrison, and John & Samantha Garrison both of Delphi grandchildren: Ann Marie Garrison, Paisley & Conley Osburn mother in law-JoEtta Flora of Delphi father in law-Carol & Jan Flora of Delphi extended family, nieces and nephews, cousins survive. His family said he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, always willing to help no matter the circumstance. He loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his passion with others. He dearly loved his family, and grandchildren, and just being together to share a meal, was everything to him. He enjoyed animals, and loved all of his kid's dogs. He enjoyed being outdoors', and he and his wife enjoyed traveling to different State Parks in Indiana. He enjoyed 4-H and helping his children with their projects, and was involved with Junior Bible Quiz competition as a judge. Always doing his best, and always doing it right. His family stated his work ethic was phenomenal, and he could out do anyone trying to keep up with him. His family was everything to him, and his children remembered him always having time to play a sporting event (touch football etc) right when he would get home from work, still in his jeans and work boots. He was a former member of the Delphi Jaycees, and helped with the annual 4th of July fireworks they helped sponsor with the City. He enjoyed his men's bible study that met regularly. He started singing in church when he was 5 years old, according to his mother. No matter where Russ and his family attended and worshiped the good Lord, he was always involved in the music ministry of the church and helping with the service. He was a member of the Fountain of Life Church in Rossville, and participated in the music on Sunday's. He then went to work for Wise & Wise Farms of Delphi for the past 26 years, and was currently still working for them. He formerly worked at the Anderson's General Store near Delphi for 14 years, and was store manager. Russ graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1977. Flora in Delphi on July 7, 1979, and she survives. He was born Mato his late father Ralph R. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, after a brief illness.
